Bioidentical Hormone Optimization

Restore Balance. Renew Vitality.

Hormones play a vital role in nearly every aspect of health — from energy, mood, and sleep, to metabolism, sexual wellness, and cognitive function. When hormones fall out of balance, whether from aging, stress, or other underlying conditions, you may not feel like yourself.

Bioidentical Hormone Optimization is a safe and effective approach to restoring balance. Unlike synthetic hormones, bioidentical hormones are chemically identical to the ones your body naturally produces. This means your body recognizes them as its own, allowing for more natural results and fewer side effects.

Who Can Benefit?

Hormone imbalance can affect both women and men, often beginning in the mid-30s to 40s, but sometimes earlier. Common symptoms include:

  • Fatigue or low energy

  • Weight gain or difficulty losing weight

  • Brain fog or memory issues

  • Mood swings, irritability, anxiety, or depression

  • Low libido or sexual dysfunction

  • Hot flashes, night sweats, or sleep disturbances

  • Loss of muscle mass or increased body fat

  • Thinning hair or changes in skin tone

If you recognize yourself in these symptoms, hormone optimization may help you regain balance.

My Approach

I use an integrative and functional medicine perspective to evaluate and restore hormone health.  This means we look at the whole person, not just lab numbers. Your care includes:

  • Comprehensive assessment of your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle

  • Advanced lab testing to evaluate hormone levels and related markers

  • Personalized treatment plan, which may include bioidentical hormones alongside nutrition, lifestyle, and botanical therapies

  • Ongoing monitoring to ensure your plan continues to meet your needs safely and effectively

The goal is not just symptom relief, but true optimization — helping you feel well, age vibrantly, and maintain resilience for the long term.

Why Bioidentical Hormones?

  • Natural match: Identical in structure to your body’s own hormones

  • Individualized dosing: Tailored to your unique needs and metabolism

  • Evidence-based: Supported by decades of clinical use and research

  • Holistic integration: Works alongside lifestyle and functional approaches for optimal health

Let’s Work Together

I offer bioidentical hormone optimization for both women and men seeking a more natural, personalized approach to hormone balance. Together, we’ll design a plan that supports your energy, mood, and longevity — so you can thrive at every stage of life.

My Approach to Treating Lyme Disease

When it comes to tick-borne illness, one size does not fit all. The treatment journey is as unique as a fingerprint. One of the most important “prescriptions” I give my patients is patience. Healing from Lyme disease takes time, and the path is rarely straight. Together, we’ll learn your body’s unique presentation, how you respond to different therapies, and the patterns that emerge over time. This only becomes clear after consistent, dedicated treatment.

My goal is to help you reach—and sustain—lasting remission, so you can live free of the daily migratory symptoms of Lyme disease. This is not an easy path, and it will take everything you’ve got. But I want you to know: you can heal.

On average, my patients are in some form of treatment for 12–15 months. Some heal sooner, some take longer.

What to Expect

Initial Visit: Stabilization

Your journey begins with a phase called Stabilization. This usually lasts about four weeks, and aspects of it will continue throughout treatment. Stabilization addresses the foundations you need in place before deeper therapies can begin. This often includes:

  • Sleep

  • Pain/mast cell stabilization

  • Gut function

  • Mood/limbic rewiring

During this stage, we’ll begin with basic supplements, prescribe medications if necessary, and order lab work and additional diagnostics as needed.

First Follow-Up (4 Weeks Later)

At your first follow-up, we’ll review your test results, assess how well you’re stabilizing, and outline your individualized treatment plan. Treatments may include:

  • Pulsed polymicrobial therapy

  • Dapsone/double dose dapsone

  • Intravenous antibiotics

  • Herbal protocols

Your specific plan will depend on many factors: how long you’ve been ill, your lab results, what treatments you’ve already tried, your lifestyle and preferences, and my clinical expertise gained from treating thousands of patients.

Tailored Treatment Approaches

Every patient’s needs are different. Some may require aggressive antimicrobial therapy right away, while others may benefit from more nuanced approaches such as:

  • Mold sequestering

  • Parasite treatments

  • Spike protein binding

All patients will also be carefully assessed, treated, and monitored for:

  • Thyroid and adrenal function

  • Hormone optimization

  • Immune system status

Ongoing Follow-Ups

In the beginning, follow-up visits are usually every 4–6 weeks. This allows me to closely monitor your progress, fine-tune your protocol, and help you avoid common pitfalls. As your body begins to heal, visits may become less frequent.

We’ll also use monthly safety labs to track your response and ensure that treatments are both effective and safe.

✨ Healing from Lyme disease is a journey—but it is one you don’t have to walk alone. With consistency, support, and the right approach, lasting remission is possible.
